The problem with spare beds

Fluff and reshape the cushion when you think of it. Shredded foam settles under repeated pressure in the same spots. A minute of shaking and patting redistributes the fill and keeps the surface level.
Keep it out of direct sunlight. Strong sun fades dark fabric unevenly, and the side facing the window will drift lighter over a year. Keep it indoors too, since damp is not kind to foam.
